Surrounded by her loving family, Priscilla Yvette Verduzco-Snyder, 46, of Brownsville, TX entered God’s Kingdom on May 5, 2022, after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was was born in Brownsville, Texas on July 28, 1975. Raised in Mexico City, she later went on to graduate from Hannah High School. She followed her educational aspirations and became a teacher at Port Isabel ISD for 15 years. In 1997, Priscilla was happily married to William E. Snyder who was her partner in life for 25 years at the time of her death. She is preceded in death by her father, Mario Verduzco; grandmother Amelia E. Ruiz and Augosto Ruiz. Priscilla is survived by her spouse, William E. Snyder; children Mikaela, William, and Ella Snyder; mother Maria Verduzco; along with her sisters Jeannette Verduzco and Jessica Randall.

Priscilla’s strength inspired many. Family was the foundation of her unconditional love and compassion. She cherished making memories, scrapbooking about her travels, and learning the most she could about the beautiful culture around her. She devoted her life to giving guidance through her teachings. Her unconditional love for her family and friends will be remembered forever.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, May 9, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 6PM. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas. (956) 350-8485

    Mrs. Snyder was beautiful lady inside and out. Even though she might have been in pain you could never tell. She always had a smile on her face. Enjoying life as best she could. Her love for her family was extraordinary. May the perpetual light shine upon you beautiful lady. RIP.

    Priscilla will be missed. She was dearly loved by all. A very smart, caring, beautiful and classy lady. Always had a smile every time I saw her. Her family was of most importance. I love you Priscilla. God Bless and keep you safe. Suffer no more precious Priscilla.

    Our hearts go out to Bill and the entire Snyder family. We will greatly miss Priscilla. We are so proud of all her life accomplishments, she worked very hard to graduate from college, raise a family, and become a successful teacher. She is an inspiration for all of us!
