Irene was one of the most selfless and energetic women you could have ever met. Her capacity for infinite compassion and unconditional love was matched only by her tireless dedication to her family and friends and innovative spirit.  Ever the doting Grandmother, she adored and devoted all of her spare time to her children and grandchildren.  As a loving and dedicated wife, she softened the heart of her husband and was worshipped by him as his Queen. As the eldest daughter with 11 siblings, she was the indispensable big sister.  Throughout her life she took on many roles with zeal.  She was an entrepreneurial baker, soccer mom, household engineer, troubleshooter, nature lover, and family videographer.  She had great faith in God and believer of equality. Above all she was the foundation upon which many loving generations were built and touched.
