Teodoro Moreno Garza, 78, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 09, 2022 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on March 11, 1943.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tomas Garza and Maria De Jesus Moreno Garza; daughter Lydia Cantu; brothers Tomas Garza Jr. and Noe Garza; sisters Manuela Garza and Ofemia Trevino.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Raquel Garza; children Teodoro (Evangelina) Garza Jr., Rodolfo (Anna) Garza, Reynaldo Garza, and Pedro (Veronica Puente) Garza, Maria De Jesus (Andres) Garza, Melinda (Jaime) Solitaire, Maricela (Sergio) Cervantes and Ester (Jorge L. Yerena) Garza; 29 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren. He will be missed by all. May he Rest in Peace.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment will be on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 2:00pm at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. 657 Springmart Blvd. 956-350-8485.
