Joel H. Esparza, 52, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2022, in Brownsville, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jeronimo and Guadalupe Esparza; his brother Arnold Esparza.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Claudia Zarate; children Kaily Zarate, Ryan Gonzalez, and Isabella Gonzalez; siblings Rosie, Irma, Jerry, Juan, Odette, Dora, and Cynthia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be at 10AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at San Pedro Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 11AM at San Pedro Cemetery.
