Joel Arias Jr., 65 of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on February 20, 1956.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Eudelia Arias, Sister, Guillermina Rodriguez.
Left behind to eternally treasure his memory is his loving wife, Frances Garza Arias; His father, Joel Arias I; his Children, Joel (Celeste) Arias III, Joseph (Cynthia) Arias, Jesse R. Arias; Grandchildren, Kayli V. Arias, Mia M. Arias, Dominic G. Arias, Adelynn G. Arias; His siblings Blanca Rodriguez, Sylvia Arias, Yolanda Arias, Carlos Arias.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:00 P.M. A mass will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral Church. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at 3:00 P.M.
