Ofelia G. Ramirez

Ofelia G. Ramirez, 71, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on January 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ignacio Garza and Bonifacia Garza; siblings Vicente Garza, Ernesto Garza, Virginia Delgado, and Rosario Gonzalez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gilberto Ramirez; children Jose Jesus Ramirez (Ana), Dianira Guadalupe Gomez (Adrian), Brenda Molina (Eliazar), and Cristina Ramirez (Nieto Osito); siblings Daniel, Frutoso, Petra, Juan, Elsa, and Camila; grandchildren Alexias, Viviana, Jasmine, Josue, Alan, Ethan, Sophie, Nathalie, and Samantha; great-grandchildren Noah, Evelyn, Dimitri, and Kendra.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 1 PM to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Friday, January 21, 2022 at 8 AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 11 AM at Las Palmas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ethan, Josue, Alan, Santos, Mario Daniel, and Ramon.
