Teresa San Miguel, 67, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Simon P. Miguel; brother Pedro Torres.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Simon Anthony (Claudia) San Miguel, Daisy J. (Ivan) Guzman, Abraham San Miguel, Shayla San Miguel-Aston (Aaron Aston), and Cynthia San Miguel; grandchildren Ashley Vera, Kayla Gongora, America, Jaxi, Anessa Cruz, Britanny, Courtney, Sophia Lauren San Miguel, Clarissa, and Simon Abraham; siblings Silvestre Torres, Felipe Torres, Geronimo Torres, Sofia Juana Guerrero, and Apolinar Torres; great-grandchildren Ava Vera, Ayla Vera, and Adrianna Aston.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 2 PM to 8 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 9 AM with a church service at 11 AM at Templo Emmanuel located at 801 W. Levee St., Brownsville, Texas. Interment will follow at 12 PM at Guillen Community Cemetery. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.
