Consuelo Davila, 70, of Brownsville Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2021, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on February 24, 1951.
She is preceded in death by her parents Nicolasa Leos and Antonio Davila.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Francisca, Imelda, Eduardo, Maria, Jorge, and Antonio; siblings Jose Reyes, Claudio Reyes, and Esperanza Davila.
She was a kind and loving person devoted to her family. She was full of joy and loved a good joke. She loved working on her plants and could not be without her coffee. Nothing made her happier than when her whole family was together.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 12 PM to 8 PM with a prayer service at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 12 PM with a chapel service at 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. She was a loving and caring person . She was a great friend to my daughter Debra. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
