Oscar Garza, 77, devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Demetrio and Guadalupe Garza.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Petra L. Garza; children Nora M. Murillo (Daniel Salvador), Ludivina Gracia (Jesus), Betty Alvear (Tony), and Angie Lerma (Gabriel); grandchildren Danny, Nora, Kimberly, Kyanna, Itzel, Oscar, Elizabeth, Melanie, Janelle, Diego, and Damian; siblings Raul Garza, Maria Esther Garza, and Gloria Alejos.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 1 PM to 10 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 8 AM with a funeral mass at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 11 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.

I remember Mr. Garza. Used to be Our backdoor neighbor. Very Respectful Man. May God give You all the comfort you all need in these hard times.
