Jorge Maldonado, 69, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, and friend entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gerardo Maldonado and Maria Isabel Salas; daughter Alma Delia Maldonado; siblings Gerardo and Dominga Maldonado.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Oralia Galvan Maldonado; children Aide (Eduardo) Cedillo, Yadira (Gonzalo) Gonzalez, and Jorge (Rosa) Maldonado Jr.; 7 grandchildren Anahi Cedillo, Eduardo Cedillo, Alessandro Cedillo, Sydney Gonzalez, Alexia Jaramillo, Ian Maldonado, and Sofia Maldonado; brothers Rogelio Maldonado, and Jose Guadalupe; sister Irma Perez.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021, from 1 PM to 8 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 12 PM with a chapel service at 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park.
