Raquel Alicia Rosales, 72, of Brownsville, TX, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest no Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Matamoros Tamaulipas on October 10, 1949.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gaspar Arreola, and Otilia Arreola, her husband Enrique Rosales, siblings, Pedro Arreola, Raul Arreola, and Homero Arreola.
Left to cherish her memory is her children Gerardo (Vanessa) Rosales, Viridiana (Jesus Sandoval) Rosales, and Mauricio Rosales; siblings, Praxedis Arreola, Gaspar (Ana) Arreola, and Idolinda Marin (Jose Margarito Marin†); and six grandchildren.
Raquel Alicia Rosales was a loving mother to 3 children and 6 beautiful grandchildren who she completely adored. She worked for Levi’s company for over 25 years, from where she retired to enjoy her life and family. Raquel had an outgoing personality and a laugh that was contagious. She lived life to the fullest and was always the life of the party. She was strong willed and independent woman who will always be remembered and cherished with love.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 1 PM to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Friday November 5, 2021, at 12 PM at Our Heavenly father Catholic Church with a burial to follow at 1 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
