Bernardina Lucio Sauceda, 73, beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andres Sauceda Guzman; daughter Mirna P. Martinez; grandson Mario Alberto Martinez; parents Felicidad Mora Vela and Teodoro Lucio Garza.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Alfredo Sauceda, Veronica Sauceda, Myrella Castro, Andres Sauceda, and Alfonso Sauceda; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 9 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 1 PM to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 2 PM at San Eugenio de Mazenod Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
