Maria G. Cepeda, 73, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her son Jose de Jesus Cepeda Jr.; siblings Demetrio Eguia, Guadalupe Eguia, Juan Eguia, Eduardo Eguia, and Fernando Eguia.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jose de Jesus Cepeda; children Aracely (Mario) Aguilar, Patricia (Arturo) Gonzalez, Javier Cepeda, Alicia Cepeda, Sonia (Nat) Garcia, Veronica (Ramon) Carillo, Juan Cepeda, Blanca Cepeda, Eric David Cepeda, Lizeth Cepeda, Demetrio (Rachel) Cepeda; siblings Paulina Eguia, Blanca Eguia, Hector Eguia, and Myrna Eguia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 1 PM to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 2 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with burial to follow at 3 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
