Gloria Rosas Gonzalez was born on June 7, 1947, in Brownsville, Texas to Eduardo Rosas and Francisca Padilla. Gloria entered eternal life on September 3, 2021. She worked for Cameron and Willacy Counties Community Projects for more than 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Roberto Gonzalez, III and her brother Eduardo Rosas, Jr. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, a great grandmother.
Gloria is survived by her daughters Veronica Ella Salazar (Jose Francisco), Crystal Herrera (Alexander Galvan), and Angelica Alaniz (Ryan Albert Alaniz). Her siblings, Raymond Rosas, Maria Del Carmen Zuniga, and Maria Guadalupe R. Garcia. Her pride and joy of her nine grandchildren, Jose Roberto Salazar, Pablo Alberto Salazar, Erika Patricia Salazar, Aryanna Galvan, Francisco Roberto Gutierrez, Leeroy James Herrera, America May Alaniz, Moises Angel Garcia, and Aleah Rose Garcia. Her great grandchildren Jose Roberto Salazar, Jr., and Axel Amador Salazar.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Inurnment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
