Maria Guadalupe Maldonado

Maria Guadalupe Maldonado Ramirez, 83, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest August 31, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Guanajuato, MX on March 1, 1938.

She is preceded in death by her parents Petra Rios , and Pascual Ramirez and her spouse Francisco Maldonado.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Carmen Maldonado (Vicente González) and Juan Maldonado (María Maldonado), María Santos Maldonado (Eligio Hurtado), Jose de Jesus Maldonado (Teresa Maldonado), Jose Guadalupe Maldonado (Zulema García), María del Socorro Ortega (Jorge Luis Ortega), and Maria Luisa Maldonado (Eduardo Reyes); sister Maria Santos Ramirez ,numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Madre de fe siempre encamino a sus hijos en la Igelsia católica, participaba en la Iglesia Perpetuo Socorro en Matamoros, Tamps. Ya en Brownsville pertenecia al grupo de oración en Holy Family Church.  Disfrutaba cocinar y hacer manualidades le gustaba estar rodeada de sus hijos y nietos.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church and Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park.  Funeral Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory 657 Springmart Blvd. Brownsville, TX 78526
