Hilda H. Martinez, 72, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal into eternal rest on August 19,2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Benito, TX on January 2, 1949.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cristobal Hernandez, and Francisca Hernandez.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Teodoro S. Martinez; children Deyanira M. Garcia, and Sergio Martinez; siblings Gloria Torres, Sylvia Hernandez, and Mario Hernandez.
She will be greatly missed.
Hilda loved life and dedicated her life to her children and spouse. After retirement she dedicated her spare time to painting.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 1PM to 8PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on August 24, 2021, at 9:00AM. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
