Maria Margarita Sanchez, 96, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on August 14, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose P. Sanchez; son Juan Sanchez; daughter Rebecca Sanchez de Tovar; grandchildren Javier Sanchez Lopez, Jose Alberto Sanchez, and Sara Y. Sanchez Martinez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Margarita (Armando) Cardenas, Erasmo (Maribel) Sanchez, Jose C. (Ana B.) Sanchez, Alicia (Rodolfo) Garcia, Ernestino (Rebecca†) Sanchez, Alfonso (Maria) Sanchez, Jovita (Joel) Lopez; daughter in law Maria Lopez de Sanchez; son in law Gabriel Tovar; sister Amparo (Jesus); 33 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 9 AM to 2 PM with a chapel service at 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
