Hello, loved ones of Gaby. I had the pleasure of going to high school with her, and the main thing I remember of Gaby was that she spread joy wherever she went, always smiling at the world! I’m really sorry to hear of her passing; I can’t imagine the pain you all are feeling but the “God of all comfort” does (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) and He comforts us in all our trials. Acts 24:15 reassures us that we will see our loved ones who have passed away: “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous”. Not only this, but God also promises to eliminate death forever in Revelation 21:4, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. Our loving God promises that soon all of this suffering and pain will end; the real hope of one day being able to hold our loved ones again gives us the strength to endure the trials of this world. An article that helped me when I lost my grandparents was The Watchtower’s “When a Loved One Dies” July 2008. It can now be found on http://www.jw.org. I hope these texts and articles help. May Jehovah God continue giving you the strength to endure!
