Dimas Medina Castilleja, 89 of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on August 12, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Maxwell, Tx on March 26, 1932.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Taurino Medinas, Seferina Castilleja; wife Margie Medina (1929- 1998), siblings, Julia, tule, Luis Francisco, Luis, Aurora, Juanita, and Thomas.
Left to cherish his memory is his children, Charlotte, Martha, Jerry, Larrry, and David; brother Francisco Medina Castilleja, niece Lily Vargas and nephew Luis Vargas. Family Medina Castilleja, Vargas Medina, Medina Martinez, Hernandez Morales.
He will be greatly missed.
He Loved going to the Casino, visiting his family, talking over the phone with his family and friends. He loved sitting outside enjoying the view and watching old Mexican movies. He was deeply loved by friends, family and neighbors who called him “Tioâ€.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 1 PM to 8PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
