I love you Tia. You and Mom together again, and abuelita Maria makes three.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Hna. Cardenas. She was such a good and faithful friend as well as a sister in Christ to all of us in the Carrasco family.

Not only was she a loyal friend and sister in the faith, but also was a tremendous caregiver to my Tia’s Laurencia, Leonor and of course our grandmother Mama Meme. I am so grateful that she was able to play such an important part in their lives as well as being there for them. Helping them to experience there Heavenly birth.

There are many times I remember her at dad’s store where a big brawny guy would come in and ask for spark plugs or an oil filter and could not believe that this small in stature, mild-mannered, soft spoken woman could give him the correct part number plugs or filter without even looking at a cross-reference book! … Those were different times, we had no computers.

People like Esperanzita are the exception, not the rule. Ninfa, you have a wonderful example set by your mother. Now that it is time for her Heavenly birth, thank God every day for her life.

I’m’ sorry we will not be able to join you in the funeral. We will be in Houston till Sunday.

    She will be greatly missed.

    Albino J. Carrasco (Nito)
