Diego Armando Montoya, 31, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, brother, son, and friend entered into eternal rest on July 30, 2021, at Corpus Christi Medical Center-Bay Area surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mexico on July 3, 1990.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Martin Montoya Landin and Sofia Estrada Rodriguez; wife Leslie Ann Granado; children Hazelle, Abigail, Destiney, and Joel Montoya; siblings Elida Arreola (Adrian Lamas), Stephanie Montoya, and Roy Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 1 PM to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 12 noon at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a chapel service at 2 PM with burial to follow at 3 PM at Guillen Community Cemetery.
