Victoria Flores of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest July 14, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Matamoros, MX on February 24, 1927.
She is preceded in death by her husband Eloy Flores, her parents Jose Ortiz and Alejandra Diaz her son Manuel daughters, Dolores, Josefina, Vicky and Victor, siblings Manuel, Felipa, and Guadalupe.
Left to cherish her memory is her Children Eloy (Margarita), Rolando (Ilda), Ramiro (Angelica), Rene (Roxana), Ruben (Sonia), Ricardo (Susan), Beto (Lulu) and Miguel (Jessica) and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren

She will be greatly missed.
Our mom was a woman of strong and positive character. She was always firm in her decisions with the faith in God. She was a strong woman who was widowed when she had 6 children and 4 grandchildren under the age of 17 and worked hard to get them all ahead in life. Our mom had a strong love for her family, and this was evident by every single-family picture she hung and every inch of her walls. You would always notice her presence in any place she was at. She had a passion for sewing and knitting and when her granddaughters were young, she would sow them matching dresses. She loved playing bingo with her family and at the day care. Our mother will be dearly missed not just by her family that loves her but by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 19th, from 1:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
A mass will be held Tuesday, July 20th, at 2:00 PM at Christ the King Church.
Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
