Eulogio Luevano De La Rosa, 63, of Brownsville, TX, devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Salinas De Hidalgo, San Luis Potosi on August 11, 1957.

He is preceded in death by his parents Eulogio Luevano and Victoria De La Rosa; brothers Roberto Luevano and Salomon Luevano.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Oscar Luevano, Ubaldo Luevano, Tomasita Luevano, Laura Luevano, Daniel Luevano and Arturo Díaz; siblings Antonio Luevano, Elena Luevano, Carmela Luevano, and Mariana Luevano.

Eulogio was a very loving, generous person with all who knew him.  He was always of a playful nature and loved spending time with all of his family.  He always carried himself with a gentle dignity and was very hardworking.  Always traveling he was a man of business, an entrepreneur. When he was not working, he was either fishing, indulging in his favorite soccer teams Chivas and Tigres, or organizing small family gatherings. A very spiritual man, he left many teachings to his loved ones.  He will be greatly missed.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 14, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel will open at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, with a chapel service at 9 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. Funeral services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78526.
