Rodolfo Alcantar, 62, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marisela Alcantar.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Deyadira Alcantar, Rodolfo Alcantar Jr., and Isdarely Alcantar; mother Guadalupe Peña; siblings Angela (Abelardo) Garcia, Carmen (Martin) Cano, Jesus (Sally) Ambriz, Alfredo (Carolina) Ambriz, Sandra Peña (Teodoro) Ozuna, Armando (Karina) Pena, and Rosario (Francisco Borrego) Ambriz; grandchildren Pablo Flores, Baldomero Alanis, Isaias Alanis, and Alexa Romero.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 1 to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
