Maria Del Rosario Rodriguez, 86 of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, Great-grandmother, and Friend, entered into eternal rest on Monday May 31st. 2021 at Brownsville Valley Baptist Medical Center. Surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Matamoros, Tamp. on October 02, 1934.

(Graciela) Rodriguez.; Grand Children, Melissa Escobedo, Karla Briseño, Kole Michael Nino, Ryan RodrÃguez, Daniela RodrÃguez, Mario “Mayito” RodrÃguez; Great Grandchildren, Karen A. Escobedo, Julio A. Escobedo, Katia A Escobedo, Cesar A. Escobedo, Itzel Anahà Briseño, Ximena Ariana Briseño, Anuel Caleb Briseño, Blake Michael Nino. Colton Evan Nino.
Rosario Rodriguez “Chayo” married the Love of her life Mario C. Rodriguez. They were married for 64 years and raised three children who she loved dearly, Alma, Letty and Mario aka “Mayin”. She had Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Aside from having God in her life and always enjoying being with her family, she enjoyed fashion and designer handbags! She raised her children by instilling in them that Family always comes first and needs to stick together. She was also a good friend to many.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 3 to 7 with a prayer service at 6:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
