Maria Josefina Olmos, 73, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on May 16, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jose Francisco Olmos; children Olga Vento (Javier), Franc Olmos (Abbey), Jaime Olmos (Rosaura), Laura Olmos (Frank Hernandez), Javier Olmos (Nancy), and Patricia Olmos; grandchildren Jacob, Ashley, Priscilla, Brianna, Andrea, April, J. J. Gerardo, Alondra, Isaiah, Paulina, Patrick, and Carlo; great grandchildren Jonah, Aubrey, Luca, Mila, Liam, Aria, Zara, Aston, Ava, Richard, and J.R.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 1 to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at 10 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park. Miss you so much grandma. You were the best grandma in the world. We all miss you so so much. I loved you so much when you were here. And I still wish you were with us.
