Norma “Kali” Patricia Buitureida, 50, of Brownsville, TX, devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister entered into eternal rest on May 11, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on May 12, 1970. She is preceded in death by her mother Elvia Guillermina Garza.

Left to cherish her memory is her father Alfredo Buitureira Sr. (Consuelo); children Michelle Buitureida, Lazaro Buitureira, Nestor “Chikilin”Garza III, and Amanda Bry Buitureida; grandchildren Alexis, Ashley, Royce, Layla, Lazaro, Giana, Anthony, and Juanito; siblings Maria Luisa Rendon (George), Erica Renteria (Arturo), Brenda Garza (Liliana), Yolanda Sanchez (Antonio) Alfredo Buitureira Jr. (Salome), Mark Anthony Buitureira (Brittni), Cecilia Marie (Joe) and 29 nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 14, 2021 from 1:00-7:00 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. Funeral services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd. (956) 350-8485.

    My sincere Condolences to Norma’s
    Family. I was saddened to hear of her
    Passing. She left us with incredible memories. Norma was very joyful, and will be missed.
