Silvia Dalila Castro, 80 of Brownsville TX devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 3, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico D.F. on September 5, 1940.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Marcos Cantu, and Dolores Flores de Cantu.
Left to cherish his memory is her loving husband Pedro Castro Tejada; children Pedro Hugo Castro Cantu, Martha C. Garcia (Mario A. Garcia), Dolores Sanchez (Jose L. Sanchez), Juan C. Castro Cantu (Sara Gonzalez), and Sagrario Castro Cantu; numerous siblings, niece, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6: 00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, located at 657 Springmart Blvd. Brownsville TX 78526, Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
