Sylvia Garcia, 65, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesus Garcia; parents Idalia and Ramon Lopez; siblings Elsa Cisneros, Leticia Lopez, and Ramon Lopez Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Faustino Garcia (Patty), Fernando Garcia, and Jessica Garcia; siblings Rosie Bolado Cancino (Gilbert Cancino), Carlos Lopez (Mary), Jesus Lopez (Lisa), and Gerardo Lopez; grandchildren Jakob and Maya; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 1 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude in the evening.
