Raul Garate Capistran, 69, of Brownsville, TX devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on March, 07, 1952.
He is preceded In death by is parents, Emilio Garate Peña and Josefina Capistran Gonzalez.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Nydia Garate; two sons, Emilio Garate and Raul Garate Treviño; his three sisters, Evangelina Garate (Leobardo Perez+), Irma Guerra (Lic. Jose Guerra Velasco), Blanca Saenz (Manuel Saenz); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, located at 657 Springmart Blvd. Brownsville, TX 78526, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
