Humberto Martinez Morales, 72 of Brownsville, Texas.  A beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Father-in-Law, and Friend.  Entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 19, 2021 surrounded by his closest love ones at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents Eugenio Martinez Olvera and Ernestina Martinez Morales.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years: Judith Martinez Perez, daughter: Cindy and husband Jorge Rodriguez, son: Humberto Martinez and wife Dina, and son: Marcos Ivan Martinez and wife Marifer. Also, his pride and joy grandchildren Sarah, Jorge Jr., Paulina, Carlo Humberto, and Gia.

Known by many as Mr. Martinez, an exemplary car dealer and owner of MARTINEZ USED CARS for 43 years.  He saw everyday as an opportunity to serve his business and the community. He was always dedicated to his job as a business owner to provide the best for his family. His life was an example of overcoming barriers. His determination and work ethic inspired both his sons and family members to follow his footsteps. A member of Primera Iglesia Presbyteriana Mexicana and served as a Deacon.  He was a man of faith, which built his character to become a positive leader and mentor for his family. He was a loving, humble, generous, caring, friendly, strong and a confident man. He was a loyal friend and protector, who enjoyed helping others.  A one-of-a-kind, genuine man that will be forever missed by his family and the many lives he touched during his journey on earth.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, located at 657 Springmart Blvd. Brownsville, TX 78526, with a service at 6:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jesus Cepeda.

Services will continue Friday, April 23, 2021 with the continuation of the visitation from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.  Christian burial procession time will be at 12:30 p.m. to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.  Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville.  (956) 350-8485.
