Juan Carlos Cantú Galván, 55, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, México on December 31, 1965.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Rosa Idalia Jimenez de Cantú; children John Brian Cantú, Rosemary (Esteban J. Mireles) Cantú, and Tiffany Cantú; parents Blanca M. Cantú and Bernardo Cantú; siblings Laura Cantú, Patricia Acosta, Deisy Edith Cantú-Roca, and Nancy Hernández.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 1 to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2 PM at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church with burial to follow at 3 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
