The world has lost a good and gentle soul. Until we meet again my friend.

Oh Joe, you will be missed so much. Deepest condolences to your precious wife Sara, children Andres, Daniel and Eliza and your sisters.

We used to give you a hard time about being the ‘old guy’ in the group and the guy wearing the white socks with our concert band uniforms but you knew it was all done in love. You definitely were loved by so many. I cherish those trips to Sonic with you and Cesar. You two were always analyzing music notes and chords from the radio music while I snacked on tater tots.

Eternally grateful to know you are in the presence of Almighty God and His son Jesus who you loved and faithfully served. We will meet again in a Heaven one day.

Joe was a wonderful musician and mentor to so many students. I have many fond memories of being in the Golden Eagle Band with him. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. He will be very missed by many. Condolences to his family and friends.

Joe was our band director at Cummings Middle School for many years. I remember him walking proudly with his band during a Charro Days parade. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. He will be missed.
