Preston was a long time family friend. Having grown up as one of his neighbors near the intersection of Old Port Isabel Road and Coffee Port Road (802). Cant say it was the best of times or worst of times as growing up happens, but the best of times will always be remembered. I know Art J, Michal Y. and Neal S. will be accompanying him to his destination.

What a great man. Preston was a man God used to touch the lives of others. He had genuine care for the people he worked with in Love Brownsville. I saw how his life turned around when he gave his life to Christ. It was great to see him come to church because he was a real worshipper. He wanted to sit on the front row with Marie, ready to worship and serve the Lord. He brought his family to church.
We watched him serve a family with lots of kids, even taking them on trips and vacations. He and Marie rebuilt the auditorium of Good Neighbor Settlement House so that the kids there could have a Vacation Bible School. They were the first ones to start a weekly dinner at Good Neighbor. They built a great team of 40 people. They hosted health fairs, Christmas giveaways, school supplies giveaways, and Christmas shows at public schools.
Preston was a great example of what God can do through a man with a changed heart! Libby and I will miss him!
