Lucila R. “Lucy” Trevino

On February 28, 2021, Lucila R. “Lucy†Trevino age 88, peacefully passed from this earth into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She lived a simple life marked by humility, contentment, prayer, perseverance, and thanksgiving; gladly sharing her time and possessions with those in need. She was faithful to the Church, to her family and her community. Although small of stature, her departure leaves a void impossible to fill.  To those who knew her, words recounting her life are unnecessary. To those who didn’t, words are inadequate to portray the full essence of her life on earth.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She preceded in death by…parents Matilde & Adolfo Rodriguez, Francisco Trevino Sr., Susannah, Lupita, Jesse, Lulu. Adam V. Guerrero Sr. Yvette Guerrero, Sandy Perez. Siblings Antonio, Praxedis, Margarita, Alicia, Lupita, Israel, and Irene.

She is survived by…. Sandy LaRue, Terry Altheide (Phil), Frank, Leonard, Farley (Laura)and Mark (Diana).
Grandchildren Adam Guerrero, Mark Samuel (Amanda) Nate (Jennifer)LaRue. Bethany Mire (Jamaal)Lisa Sartin (Shawn) Marshall (Deena), Michael, Bryan (Kaitlyn), Zachary Cazalas, Farley E. Trevino (Karina), Kayla Hudson (Heath), Donavan Trevino, Josh Valladarez (Sky) Christina Valdez (Damian) Amanda Trevino, Ruben Caballero, and Sarah Medellin (Axel). 
Great-grandchildren Jaamal Jr., Dominic, Carter, Hudson Mire, Hayden, Libby, Jaxon, Dillyn, Lawson LaRue, Conner, Wesley Trevino. Mason, Elliot, Aaron Valdez, Lydia, Evelyn, Vivian Valladarez, Katie, Archie Hudson, Seth Barios, Maddie Sartin, Kaia Mire, Matthew, Michael, Luke Cázalas, Allison, Gabriel Cuevas, and Caleb Caballero. Also surviving numerous nieces, nephews.

Interment will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville. (956) 350-8485
