On February 20th, 2021, Jesus Ledezma Carmona, loving husband and father of 4 children, was called to our Lord at the age of 70 in his hometown of Brownsville, Texas.
Jesus was born on April 23rd, 1950 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico to Doroteo Ledezma and Rafaela Carmona. On May 8th, 1972, he married Maria Ernestina Sanchez Martinez. They raised four daughters, Sylvia, Patricia, Claudia, and Martha.
Jesus was a great husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, son and friend. He was a very hard-working man that loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was known for his kindness and his sense of humor. Jesus will be dearly missed.
Jesus is survived by his wife Maria, his children, Sylvia, Patricia, Claudia and Martha. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ruby, Cassandra, Alessandra, Juan, Javier, Christian, Citlaly, Erick, Susan, Leonardo, Isela, Vianney, Joshua, Zyla and Zarek.
A memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 657 Springmart Blvd, in Brownsville, Texas. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
