On February 19th, 2021, Margarita Paredes Marroquin a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called to our Lord at the age of 78 in her hometown of Brownsville, Texas.
Margarita was born on October 17th, 1942 in Brownsville, Texas to Margarita G. Paredes and Francisco E. Paredes. She was raised by her loving mother. She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco E. Paredes and Margarita G. Paredes; grandparents Margarita V. Galvan, Miguel L. Paredes Sr.; brother Francisco E. Paredes Jr.; son Mario Marroquin; son in law Manuel Beltran; grandson Ricardo A. Rodriguez; great-grandson Jonathan Gage Ramirez.
She is survived by her children Margarita P. Maroquin, Alice Beltran (Manuel+), Richard Marroquin and Michelle Perez (Albert); grandchildren Stacy, Christie, Vanessa, Lisa, Barbara, Gilbert, Jennifer, Bianca, Albert, Laura, Aaron; sister-in-law Martha V. Paredes and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and friend. She enjoyed family gatherings, visiting her grandchildren, playing bingo, and listening to the Oldies. Mom/Grandma we will always miss you and love you Forever Until we meet again.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 3 to 7 PM with a chapel service at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
