Eugenio Garcia Jr., of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on June 25, 1943.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio Garcia Sr., and Guadalupe Davila.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Maria G. Garcia; one son, David F. (Gina) Garcia; one granddaughter, Emily Garcia; one sister, Elma Payne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
