Jerry Martinez Jr. 47, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, son, brother, and friend entered eternal rest on February 8, 2021 at Valley Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his mother Carmen Saenz Martinez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Luz D. Martinez, fur babies Peewee Marie Martinez and Panchito Li Martinez, Father Jerry Martinez Sr. and brother Jason Martinez.
Jerry was a former Brownsville Police Department Parking Enforcement Officer for many years.
Visitation for close friends and family will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with prayer service at 12:00 noon at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church followed by a Christian Burial at 3:30 p.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
