Isaac Garcia, 72, of Brownsville, TX was called home by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his daughter Susanna Garcia, his parents Jesus and Ynosencia Garcia, sister Trinidad Garcia, and brother David Garcia.
A hardworking, dedicated and devoted husband, a proud father, a loving grandfather, great-grandfather, and a true friend. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Graciela Garcia and their five children, Irma (Victor) Perales, Sandra (Osvaldo) Garcia-Perales, Deborah Gutierrez, Isaac (Vanessa) Garcia, Jr., and Jaime (Wendy) Garcia; ten grandchildren, Justin Gutierrez, Alyssa Martinez, Dinorah Gutierrez, Susanna Raya, Delilah Gutierrez, Miranda Perales, Victoria Perales, Kayla Garcia, Osvaldo Perales, Jr., and Allyson Garcia; as well as five great-grandchildren, Marcus Gutierrez, Noah Ortega, Janelle Gutierrez, Sebastian Raya, and Ailani Meza. Also survived by his brother Jesse (Laura) Garcia, Jr. sister Ofelia Peña, and sister Rosalinda (Emilio) Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 1 to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9 AM at Our Heavenly Father Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
