Osvaldo B. Sanchez, 87, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Solara Hospital-Harlingen surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his son Osvaldo Sanchez Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years Maria L. Sanchez; children Griselda Sanchez (Nephtali) De Alonzo, Eneida (Joel) Sanchez Hernandez, Linda (Lorenzo) Sanchez Hernandez, Orlando (Yvette Garza) Sanchez, Juan Luis (Marlene Garza) Sanchez; grandchildren Lynette, Erica (Eric) Flores, Eric Hernandez, Natalie (Eric Diaz) Hernandez Diaz, Linda L. Hernandez, Emmanuel Hernandez, Samuel Hernandez, Osvaldo, Orlando, Ismael, Eneida; great grandchildren Sebastian, Antonio, Joel, Brayden, Ozias, Colton Troy Taylor; siblings Oscar Sanchez, Olga Sanchez and Berta Alicia Lara.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 1 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
