Billie Jo Gonzalez, 29, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in McAllen, Texas. Billie is preceded in death by her grandfather Quack Yuen Poy and her sister Dina Rose Gonzalez.
Billie is survived by her husband Sammy Rodriguez; son Julian Ramiro Gonzalez; daughter Milah Rose Rodriguez; parents Rosie and Guillermo Gonzalez; grandmother Senorina Poy; siblings Cathy (Johnny) Ramirez, Cynthia (Jesse) Vasquez, William Gonzalez, and Mathew Gonzalez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She enjoyed the simplest of things family gatherings, listening to music and the joy of making the children laugh.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 1:00 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11 AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at 2 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
