Jose Ma de la Cruz, 70, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Valley Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents Filiberto de la Cruz and Esperanza de la Cruz, siblings Rosa Gonzalez and Daniel de la Cruz.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Inez de la Cruz; children Jose Arturo (Rebeca) de la Cruz, Esperanza (Osvaldo) Chapa, Jesus (Gladis) de la Cruz, Cesar (Marlen) de la Cruz; grandchildren Eliezer, Elias, Elizabeth, Elienai, Matias, Santiago, Katherine, Osvaldo Jr., Misael, Dominicue, Paola, Julianne, Abigail, Melanie, Cesar A., Aldo and Jael; siblings Juan (Dora) de la Cruz, Heriberto (Antonia) de la Cruz, Regino de la Cruz, Maria de Jesus (Ramon) Garcia, Maria Guadalupe (Jose) de los Reyes, Ana (Jesus) Alvarado, and Juana (Rolando) Garcia; brother in law Antonio Gonzalez and sister in law Araceli de la Cruz. Also surviving numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Casa de mi Padre located at 4213 Robindale Rd., Brownsville from 1 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Casa de mi Padre at 10 AM with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
