Maria Guadalupe Cisneros Garza, 78 of Brownsville, Texas gained her wings on November 20, 2020 in Brownsville. Maria was born in Brownsville to San Juana Flores and Ezequiel Garza on September 9, 1942. In 1959 she married Leon Cisneros of Matamoros, Tamaulipas. She is preceded in death by both her parents San Juana and Ezequiel, her husband Leon Cisneros, and her three sons Santiago, Leonzo, and Federico.
She is survived by her siblings: Israel (Sylvia) Garza, Cleotilde (Lizandro) Naranjo, Herlinda (Roberto) Garza children: Josefina Luna, Ernesto (Felipa) Cisneros, Maria Blanca, Juan, Jose Alberto, Sylvia, Alejandro (Cristina), and she was a grandmother of 30, great grandmother of 57, she was an amazing cook, loved her plants, crossword puzzles, word search, and LOTERIA!
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 1 to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
