Guadalupe Angelica Rodriguez

Guadalupe Angelica Rodríguez, 60, of Brownsville, Texas devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jovita Lopez Zamora.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters Carla Ivette Rodriguez (Bruno Fuentes), Denise Angelica Vaughn (Marces); grandson Eric Bowie Vaughn; siblings Jesus Lopez Zamora, Laura Hernandez Aviles, Juana Perez Zamora and Antonio Aguillen Zamora.

She was a hardworking leader who dedicated 33 years of her life to her career at Stripes. She never met a stranger and always willing to help anyone in their time of need. She enjoyed trips to the beach, coffee and having gorditas with her grandson. Her smile will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be remembered by her joyful spirit and her contagious laughter.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. Services will conclude.
