Guillermo “Billy†de Luna was born July 25th 1972 and just days ago on October 19th, 2020 passed away. He is survived by, Isabel Silva de Luna, children, Billie Renee, Joseph Anthony, Seth Sylvestre, and Sabel, his brother, Rocky Joe de Luna, sister, Leslie Samantha Gutierrez, and siblings Timothy Ray Gutierrez, Jennifer Marissa Orozco, and mother, Mary Elizabeth Mungia. He is preceded by his parents, Guillermo “Bill†de Luna, and Maria Esther de Luna.Â
Billy loved all sports, playing, watching, and taunting others about their preferences if they varied from his. If you ever went to one of his barbeques, you also know he prepared some of the best meals you’d ever have coming off the grill.
Services are on Wednesday, October 21st at Sunset Funeral Home in Brownsville, TX. Viewing is scheduled from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Please wear masks as this is an indoor event. Visitors are limited to 35 at one time. No community food or beverages will be provided to comply with current guidelines.
Following the viewing, the family will toast Billy de Luna at Dog House (across the street from Sunset Funeral Home).Â
