Francisco “Caco” Maldonado Loza

Francisco “Caco” Maldonado Loza

Francisco “Caco†Maldonado Loza, 73, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, entered into eternal rest October 1, 2020 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico on September 17, 1947.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Blanca Velia Maldonado; children Griselda Maldonado, Blanca Erica Maldonado, Claudia Yvette Maldonado (Juan Vasquez), Francisco Maldonado Jr.; siblings Alfredo Maldonado, Elena Maldonado, Hector Maldonado, and Hermelinda Maldonado; grandchildren Jesus Franco Jr., Natalie Banda, Samantha Banda, Francisco Banda III, Andrew Jason “AJ†Banda, and Juan Gael Vasquez; and great-grandson Darien Isaiah Stephens.

Our father, Francisco Maldonado, lovingly known as “Caco” or “Maldonado” to his numerous friends and family was a very loving and generous man who enjoyed spending time with his extensive family, playing around with his children, grandchildren and great-grandson, cooking out for his family, tending to his garden (he had a very green thumb!) and anything and everything related to his farm, farm animals and all his farming equipment.  He will be remembered for his huge heart and fun personality that brought immense joy to the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be dearly missed.  Rest in Peace, Dad.  We love you dearly and are eternally grateful to you.

Funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020, at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Visitation will follow from 12 noon to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
