Efren Sastre Gonzalez, 69, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on September 28, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Maria Josefina Sastre; sons Efren (Minerva) Sastre Jr., and Eduardo (Veronica) Sastre; brother Fausto Sastre; grandchildren Efren Sastre III, Jasmine Sastre, Miguel Angel Sastre, America Sastre, Arrianna Sastre, and Eduardo Sastre Jr.
Efren was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted catholic and loved helping others and being of service to God. He will be deeply missed and loved by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 1 to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 9 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
