Leticia Saenz Sheldon

Leticia Saenz Sheldon, 65, of Brownsville, TX devoted wife, mother, sister and friend, entered into eternal rest September 25th, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on June 13, 1955. She is preceded in death by her parents: Leoncio Saenz and Maria de Jesus mora; brothers Roberto Saenz Mora and Alvaro Saenz Mora.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Maximo Mike Sheldon; children Michael Bryan Sheldon, Cassandra Camille (Joseph) McGlothlin, Christopher Mike Sheldon, and Samuel Wayne Sheldon; siblings Irma Sáenz Reyna, Leoncio Sáenz Mora, Héctor Sáenz Mora, Ofelia Sáenz Marquez, Margarita Sáenz Méndez, Norma Sáenz Vasquez, and Minerva Sáenz Mireles; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday October 1, 2020 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville. (956) 350-8485

    Mike, I am so sorry for your loss. I will be there in spirit, my daughter survived the virus but it was very hard on me since she lives with us. You know I would be there if I could. I will let the classmates know. Praying for you and all your family.
