Santos De La Rosa Jr., 68, of Brownsville, TX devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. De La Rosa was born in San Benito, TX January 08, 1952.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosario De La Rosa; his father, Santos De La Rosa Sr. and his mother, Lilia C. De La Rosa; one son, Santos De La Rosa III.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Sammy De La Rosa; one grandson, Matthew Leising; his brother, John (Norma) De La Rosa; one sister, Olga (Roberto) Saldivar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. De La Rosa enjoyed fishing-trips and spending time with family and friends. We will be missed and loved by family, friends and all who knew him.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
On Thursday, July 16, 2020, chapel opens at 8:30 a.m. and  interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m.
